Giving back to the community is one on The Reef's greatest expectations. With more than 1000 hours of documented volunteer service each, Agriscience & Engineering Technology Academy members Georges "Nick" Francis and Katrina Rachel Sharp have demonstrated a profound influence on youngsters. Nick, in addition to mentoring children at his religious center and being active in his acdemy's TSA, coaches flag football at the YMCA. Katrina used her extensive FFA leadership experiences to develop, fund and implement five weekend conferences at the Wings for Life, a program funded by the Juvenile Justice System. Designing the sessions around the girls' individual talents, strengths and opportunities for personal growth, Katrina is making a difference in the lives of others.
