Displaying patented charisma, showmanship and charismatic sparks, Reef Thespians Troupe 5744, under the dynamic instruction and guidance of award winning, multitalented Ana Mederos-Blanco, received a remarkable 43 superior ratings and 38 excellent standings. The highly sought-after Critics Choice Award was presented to Stephanie M. Del Pino for Student Directing, Andhy W. Mendez for his marvelous Monologues, and to Reef Team Oscar I. Camacho, Paul B. Thompson, Joseph B. Godio, Andhy Mendez and Vanessa R. Rojas-Benavides for their gentle grace and quiet passion in the Mime category. Buena suerte at the Florida State Thespians Festival this April in Tampa. Move over Broadway!

Kudos to Reef Visual and Performing Arts Academy instructors Scott McKinley and Colette Stemple whose proteges received the coveted Gold & Silver Medals and now move to the National Competition: Michael P. Carey, Portfolio Gold Medal Award for Sculpture, Fernando Rosales, Gold Medal for Digital Imagery, Alina N. Balaguero, Portfolio Gold Medal for Painting, Christine J. Peters, Silver Medal for Painting, Dona Marie Altemus and Audrey Gonzalez with "paintings juried into show." Best wishes for Nationals!
