Reef art instructor Nancy Adams and Fairchild sponsor Lorrie Scordilis are delighted to announce the following first place winners who will represent Coral Reef  in the Fairchild Challenge Native Plant Watercolor competition: Allan Chris Rolle, Diana Amquy and Jeanette Kristine Gonzalez. Allan is a senior in the International Baccalaureate Academy; 11th grader Diana is a member of Leisure Medicine and Jeanette is a 12th grader in the Business and Finance Academy.

Kudos to all of outstanding artists who received finalist designation in the watercolor contest: Eliza Gonzalez, Abigail Platt, Larissa R. Taylor, Rashida L. Taylor, Laura A. Gutierrez, John Mena, Shareen A. Dookie, Melannie Copeland, Eleni Rodriguez, Jeffrey A. Slawinski, Vicky Amion, Bryan K. Kaimrajh, Erica R. Almandoz, Elizabeth Bouza, Melissa B. Taheri, Geoff Turman, Gisella Caceres, Amanda Orellana, George S. Jreij, Amy King, and Desiree Senti.  The beautiful interpretations of the Reef’s surrounding environments are on display in Gallery 119
