There are two strands: Agrscience & Engineering Technology. Agriscience explores and studies areas dealing with agronomy, horticulture, forestry, entomology, aquatics, environmental science and mechanical engineering. Engineering Technology students explore different engineering disciplines such as mechanical, structural, industrial and aerospace through designing, building, testing and analyzing models and prototypes. Computer aided drafting and design desktop publishing, graphic, and electronic communication are some of the activities used to increase their technological literacy. Offers seven strand of specialization: Visual Arts, Theatre Arts, Dance, Band, Chorus, Orchestra, & Piano, and is comprised of actors, singers, dancers, musicians, and artists who strive for excellence in academics and creative expression. Students spend two hours each day over a four-year period immersed in the theory and practice of their particular discipline. Extensive art and photography labs, dance and music studios and black-box theatre serve as settings for our academy students. Acceptance is determined by an audition score. (more   )

Students will focus on the areas of finance, accounting, business management and marketing. Once they have learned the tools for success, students demonstrate their ability through job shadowing and an extensive internship in the business community. A pre-university course of studies leading a examinations, that meet the needs of highly motivated students. To qualify, students must have a "B" (2.75) average, have completed Honors Algebra I and Honors Earth Space Science in 8th grade, and scored 80% or above on standardized achievements tests, and/or at least level 3 on both sections of the FCAT. Acceptance is determined by the random selection process after meeting the above requirements. (more   )

The academy covers four medical strands: Nursing Assistant, First Responder, Pharmacy Aide, and Allied Health. These four strands include programs for preparation of students for real life experiences and future jobs preparation. Students will begin with a core of intensive academic classes, which will prepare them for future study in areas related to the four themes of the academy. A solid foundation in the anatomy and physiology will provided so that these students will develop a deep understanding of the scientific basis for their training. This academy is designed for the student who is interested in pre-law, public administration/management, forensic science, public policy, law enforcement, and the criminal justice system. This program will prepare students who are pursing a career in one of these fields. During the ninth grade year, students will take the introductory course "Principles of Public Service". Following competition of this course, the students will enroll in one of these two components: Criminal Justice or Legal and Public Affairs. Acceptance is determined by the random selection process.
